Event Overview

The Newton Pride Monster Dash 5K & Fun Run is Newton's spookiest community race, and we want YOU on the starting line.

Lace up, dress up, and hit the streets of Newton on a certified 5K course winding through Ryerson, Plainfield, and Linwood — starting and finishing right at Newton High School. Whether you're chasing a PR or just chasing candy, this is the race for you.

What to Expect

• 1-Mile Fun Run: 8:00–8:30 AM
• 5K: 8:30 AM
• USATF Certified: 5K course through the streets of Newton
• Fun Run: option for all ages and paces

• Costume Contest: energy — dress to impress (or terrify)
• Awards: Age group and overall awards
• Community Celebration: benefiting Newton students
