About Frogman

• Origin: Frogman was created by The Campbell Family in 2012 to honor the wish of their beloved SOC (SEAL) Christopher Campbell.
• In Memory: Chris lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter was shot down on August 6, 2011.
• Mission: The event honors his final wish to support combat wounded veterans and promotes a love for hunting and the outdoors.
• Support: By participating, you ensure that Chris’ wish carries on and that he and his teammates are never forgotten!

Event Details

• Date: The Frogman 5K Trail Run will be held on February 20, 2027.
• Location: Taking place in eastern North Carolina at 7150 Western Blvd, Jacksonville.
• Base: Jacksonville is home to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.
• Course: A wooded trail run designed especially for Frogman, predominantly flat and enjoyable for all.

5K Trail Run

• Medals: Medals will be awarded to the top-overall male and female, top-overall male and female masters, and first place in each age division.
• Finisher Medals: Everyone crossing the finish line receives a finisher medal.
• Dog Policy: Our insurance doesn’t allow dogs at our running events unless they are service dogs.
• Time Limit: There is a time limit of two hours for this event.

Virtual 5K

• Participation: Can’t make it in person but want to support? The virtual option is for you!

T-shirts

• Order: T-shirts are available for additional purchase during registration.
• Deadline: The deadline to order is March 10th.

Packet Pickup

• Date: February 19th
• Time: 11:00am-1:00pm at Fleet Feet Jacksonville, 1154 Western Blvd, Jacksonville.
• Afternoon Pickup: 4:00pm-6:00pm at a TBD location.
• Prizes: Random bib prizes for those that pick up on February 19th.

Event Day

• Time: 6:30-7:30am at the event site.
• Parking: There will be no parking at the event site for runners: ALL runners must park and ride the shuttles.
