About Frogman

• Origin: Frogman was created by The Campbell Family in 2012 to honor the wish of their beloved SOC (SEAL) Christopher Campbell.
• Tribute: Chris lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter was shot down.
• Mission: The event supports combat wounded veterans and honors Chris’ love for bow hunting and the outdoors.
• Impact: Proceeds from the event will benefit SE Outdoors and the Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission (JOSC).

Event Details

• Date: The Frogman 5K Trail Run will be held on February 20, 2027.
• Location: The event will take place in Jacksonville, NC, near Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.
• Course: A flat, wooded trail run through the “400-acres” created especially for Frogman.
• Awards: Medals awarded to top-overall male and female, top masters, and first place in each age division: all finishers receive a medal.

Additional Information

• Dogs: Insurance does not allow dogs unless they are service dogs.
• Time Limit: There is a limit of two hours for this event.
• Virtual Option: A virtual 5K option is available for those unable to attend in person.
• T-Shirts: Available for an additional purchase during registration: deadline to order is March 10th.

• Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
• Location: Fleet Feet Jacksonville, 1154 Western Blvd, Jacksonville
• Additional Time: 4:00pm-6:00pm
• Location: TBD - Random bib prizes for those picking up on February 19th.

Event Day Information

• Time: 6:30-7:30am
• Parking: There will be no parking at the event site: all runners must park and ride shuttles to the event.
