About Frogman

Origin: Frogman was created by The Campbell Family in 2012 to honor the wish of their beloved SOC (SEAL) Christopher Campbell.
Tribute: Chris lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was shot down on August 6, 2011.
Purpose: The event supports combat wounded veterans and celebrates Chris' love for hunting, especially bow hunting, and the outdoors.
Support: By supporting Frogman, you ensure that Chris’ wish carries on, and he and his teammates are never forgotten!

Beneficiaries: Proceeds from the event will benefit SE Outdoors and the Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission (JOSC).
Date: The Frogman 5K Trail Run will be held on March 21, 2026.
Location: The run takes place in Jacksonville, eastern North Carolina, home to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.

Course: A wooded trail run through the property known as the “400-acres”: predominantly flat for fun running.
Awards: Medals awarded to top-overall male and female, top-overall male and female masters, and first place in each age division.
Finisher Medals: Everyone crossing the finish line receives a finisher medal.
Dog Policy: Our insurance doesn’t allow dogs at our running events unless they’re a service dog.

Purchase: T-shirts are available for an additional purchase during registration.
Order Deadline: Deadline to order is March 10th.

Date: March 20th.
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm.
Locations: TBD for the first pickup, Extreme Outfitters for the second pickup (100 Western Blvd - Jacksonville).
Prizes: Random bib prizes will be awarded for those who pick up on March 20th.
