The 2nd Annual Omaha Costco Marathon

Come join the Aksarben Athletic Club on Saturday, December 13th for the most unique 26.2 miles Omaha has to offer. The Costco Marathon connects the city’s three beloved Costco locations in one unforgettable route.

• Distance: 26.2 miles
• Route: Starting at the Costco off 120/Dodge, runners wind their way through town using city streets and public trails.
• Experience: Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running for the vibes, or just in it for the post-race Kirkland hot dog, the Costco Marathon delivers.
• Theme: A race where endurance meets everyday value.

Registration Information

Registration is free, but donations are highly encouraged, as the funds will be used to purchase water, Gatorade, and Costco snacks for our aid stations.

Running Details

You are free to run whatever pace you would like: there will likely be groups running at various speeds ranging from 3:30 to 5:00 marathons.

• Course Marking: There will be no course marking, so familiarize yourself with the route.
• GPS Download: Download the route onto your watch/phone in case you get separated from other runners!

Event Overview

This is absolutely NOT put on by a professional race company. This is meant to be a fun run, and the idea was cultivated by a couple of runners here in Omaha, who love Costco and also don't mind doing crazy/stupid things when it comes to running.

• Official Timing: There will not be any official timing.
• Awards: No awards will be given.
• Race Swag: No race swag which you might find at a sanctioned race.
• Nature of Event: A large, organized group run with everything Costco :)
