Come help support Two Black Dogs Foundation and Life Moves Dance Company! Race day activities include race shirts, sponsor booths/tents, prizes awarded for best in each race, and more! Race trail is service/family dog friendly and stroller friendly.
About Two Black Dogs Foundation
- Mission: Founded in 2022, Two Black Dogs Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and Georgia licensed rescue dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation through education, financial assistance for spay and neuter, and community outreach.
- Programs: Operates a variety of community programs including assistance for spay/neuter, TNR for community cats, a food pantry, and low-cost vaccines and microchipping.
- Achievements: Successfully found new homes for over 100 animals since the foundation began.
- Belief: Responsible pet ownership is key to creating a better world for animals and their families.
About Life Moves Dance Company
- Members: This season, Life Moves Dance Company consists of 16 local dancers, ranging in age from 8 through 17.
- Opportunities: Expands travels and attendance of conventions and multiple competitions throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
- Support: Your participation or donation for the Dance the Winter Blues Away - 5k Walk/Run, 10k, and Kids Fun Run can help families cover costs associated with building well-rounded dancers.
- Experience: Provides vital dance experience, grows determination and confidence, and allows each dancer to make lasting memories.
Race Details
Bib/packet pickup shall take place at Howe 2 Run on Friday, January 23rd, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Last minute pickup is at 7:00am on race day at check-in table. Please note: Late Registration does not guarantee a t-shirt or medal (for 5k/10k).
Race Day Timeline
- Registration: Table will open at 7:00am.
- Fun Run: Kids Fun Run shall begin at 7:30am.
- Start Times: 5K run/walk and 10k starts approximately at 8am, following the Kids Fun Run.
- Medals: All 5k and 10k participants will receive custom participation medal.
- Awards: Howe 2 Run will present award for 1st places in 5k and 10k.
