Green Park Viking Dash

Event Overview

Green Park Lutheran School invites you to join us for the Green Park Viking Dash 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for some family fun, this event is a great way to celebrate community, fitness, and Viking pride.

Race Details

• Location: 4248 Green Park Road, Saint Louis, MO
• Date: April 18, 2026
• Races: 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
• Course: The 5k follows a scenic course winding through the surrounding neighborhood and Grant's Trail

Family Activities

• Fun for Everyone: Face painting, balloon twisting, and a coloring station
• Food Options: Coffee Toms and Kona Ice available for purchase
• Participation: The 1 Mile Fun Run is perfect for kids, families, and walkers
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit Green Park Lutheran School's Viking Village

Registration Information

Please note: The last day to be guaranteed a race t-shirt is April 2. Registrations after April 2 will have limited sizing and availability.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:30 AM: Packet Pickup & Onsite Registration
• 8:30 AM: 5k Run/Walk
• 9:30 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run
• 9:45 AM: Awards Ceremony

Awards

• Medals: All participants will receive a medal upon completion
• Overall Awards: Top male and female finishers overall
• Age Group Awards: 1st place in each age group (10 & under, 11–19, 20–35, 36–45, 46–59, 60+)

Packet Pickup

Green Park families will have their packets sent home with the oldest child on Friday, April 17.

Non-Green Park families can pick up their race packets:

• Friday, April 17: 2 PM - 6 PM at Big River Running, 5352 Devonshire Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109
• Saturday, April 18: 7:30 AM until race at Green Park Lutheran School, 4248 Green Park Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125
