47th Annual Hill & Dale 8 Miler

Race Overview

• Great Start: Start 2026 off right with another great year of the Hill and Dale 8 Miler presented by the Memphis Runners Track Club.
• Course Details: This course, which is on roads and paved paths, will take you through the Hills and Dales of Meeman Shelby Forest State Park.
• Certification: It is one of only a handful of USATF certified 8 mile courses in the state of TN (certificate # TN20013MS).

Registration Information

• No Onsite Registration: No onsite race day registration! Registration will remain open so please register on your own device at home.

Race Timing

• Timing Method: Race will be chip (electronically) timed by the Memphis Runners Track Club.

Packet Pickup

• Date: January 2, 2026
• Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Location: Grivet Outdoors - Germantown Location, 9067 Poplar Ave., Suite 101, Germantown, TN 38138
• Race Day Pickup: We will also have race day packet pickup.

Directions

• GPS Warning: DO NOT RELY ON GPS FOR EXACT RACE LOCATION! Print this part or write these down.
• Getting There: Follow GPS to get you on North Watkins west/north of Hwy 51 (aka Thomas). Turn LEFT at Locke-Cuba Road.
• Final Steps: Continue STRAIGHT to the park entrance and then follow signs to the start line area.
• Extra Time: ALLOW EXTRA TIME to get there, park, and be ready to run. It always takes longer than you think.
