Memphis In May Triathlon Weekend

Event Overview

The 2026 Memphis in May Triathlon and AquaBike Division will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The Memphis In May Olympic Triathlon will take place at Shelby Farms Park.

Race Details

• Swim Distance: The 1.5K Swim will take place in Hyde Lake.
• Bike Route: The 40K Bike Route will take you around the park and the surrounding area.
• Run Course: The 10K Run will be on several of Shelby Farms paved trails.
• AquaBike Option: The AquaBike will be available for both the Olympic and Sprint Races.

Race Categories

• Olympic Triathlon: The Memphis In May Olympic Triathlon consists of a .93 Mile Swim, 24.9 Mile Bike, and 10.2 Mile Run.
• Sprint Triathlon: The Memphis in May Sprint Triathlon consists of a 750 meter swim, 11.5 mile bike, and a 3 mile run.
• Relay Teams: Relay teams are welcome: Female, Male, and Mixed, with 2 and 3 person teams.
• Discounts: Discounts will show up at the end of the registration process.

Packet Pickup Information

• Date & Time: Thursday, May 7th, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Location: Packet Pickup and Registration will be at Bike Plus, 7124 Stage Rd #115, Bartlett, TN 38133.

Additional Events

• Date & Time: Friday, May 8th, 3:30-5:30 p.m. Packet pickup at race venue.
• Course Preview: Olympic and Sprint Course Preview with Dale Sanford, USAT Certified Coach from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Swimming Tips: Join from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for “Tips for Improving Your Time and Experience on the Swim.”
• Location: Swimming the marked-race course will take place during this preview session.
