Women Run Walk Memphis Program & 5K

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

This program is open to women of all fitness levels, from Walkers to Advanced Runners. It is a good way to get started into walking/running, or if you're currently a runner, to improve your pace and learn valuable information to maximize your performance.

WRWM Graduation 5K: Saturday, September 13 @ 8:00am

Location: Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Rd, Cordova, TN 38018

📋 Registration Information

Registration Fees:

• April 1 - June 23: $40
• June 24 - July 21: $45
• Registration Closes: Midnight July 21

Registration includes:

• WRWM EXPO: Monday June 23, 5-7pm, Shelby Farms
• Training Sessions: Monday night training sessions
• Technical Shirt: WRWM technical t-shirt or tank
• Graduation 5K: Participation in the Graduation 5K

🏅 Training Information

Memphis Runners Track Club (MRTC) is proud to support women and running by hosting the Women Run/Walk Memphis training program with groups for Walkers, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Runners.

• Training Start: First Training Session: Monday, July 7th @ 6:30pm
• Weekly Sessions: Every Monday evening, 6:30pm, July - August
• No Training: NO training on Labor Day
• Final Session: Last night of training September 8

🎓 Graduate 5K Specifics

This race is open only to women who have registered for and completed the training program.

• Following: Properly following your training program
• Form: Proper Form
• Nutrition: Nutrition and Hydration
• Shoes: The importance of proper shoes and technical clothing
• Warm Up: Warm Up/Cool Down/Stretching
