Snap Dragon

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Type: Naked-Snap Dragon style race.
• Age Requirement: 18 and up event.
• Location: 6122 Route H, Noel, MO.
• Date and Time: 2026-10-17, starting at 10am.

⏰ Race Format

• Lap Distance: We will run .86-mile laps around Sunset Mountain on the Snap Dragon trail.
• Elimination: The last person to finish each lap will be out, and anyone unable to complete a lap in 12 minutes.
• Lap Duration: Each lap will be limited to 12 minutes.
• Continuation: New laps will start every 12 minutes with the remaining contestants.

🌲 Terrain Details

• Trail Challenge: Extremely aggressive running trail.
• Elevation: Approximately 215' in elevation gain from the starting gate.
• Running Time: Avid runners can expect to run .86 miles in about 8 minutes.
• Terrain Conditions: Unforgiving loose gravel with massive downhills and many twists and turns.

🏆 Awards and Entry

• Entry Benefits: Each paid entry is valid for entrance to Sunset Mountain on race day for the participant and one guest.
• Awards Ceremony: Recognition will be given to the top three Snap Dragon finishers.
• Simultaneous Event: The Naked Mile Challenge will run concurrently with this event.
