👻 ABOUT THE RACE

Join us for the annual Providence Monster Dash on Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Downtown Providence, RI. Celebrate Halloween FUN with loved ones and run or walk this FUN Halloween 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids.

📅 RACE INFORMATION

• Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
• Time: 9:00am Kids Run (Ages 12 and under. Girls race first followed by the boys race) // 10am 5K Run/Walk
• Location: South Water Street, Providence, RI

🏃‍♀️ EVENTS

Kids Dash Run

• Distance: Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under
• Parents: May run with their children
• Start Time: 9:00 am (Girls run first, followed by boys)

5K Run/Walk

• Distance: 3.1 Miles, walkers are welcome
• Note: No pets allowed: strollers must start in the back for safety reasons
• Start Time: 10am

🎭 COSTUME CONTEST

• Prize for Best Individual Costume: $100
• Prize for Best Team Costume: $200 (Minimum of three people)

5K Run/Walk

• Cost: $32 to 7/31/2026
• Cost: $34 8/1/2026 to 9/30/2026
• Cost: $36 10/1/2026 to 10/24/2026
• Race Day Registration: $40 Walk Up Registration

Online registration closes at 8 p.m. on 10/24/2026. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations.

Kids Monster Dash

• Cost: $17 to 7/31/2026
• Cost: $18 8/1/2026 to 9/30/2026
• Cost: $19 10/1/2026 to 10/24/2026
• Race Day Registration: $20 Walk Up Registration

• Date: Saturday, October 17th, 2026, 1pm - 5pm at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Date: Friday, October 23rd, 2026, Noon - 6pm at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2026, 10am - 5pm at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI

Race Day Packet Pickup

• Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
• Location: South Water Street, Providence, RI
• Time: 8:30am - 10am

Walk up registrations will be accepted on Saturday and Sunday. Please Note: Race t-shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations on race day.

🏆 AWARDS

Individual Awards

• Top 3 Overall: Winners for various age categories (under 19, age 20-29, age 30-39, age 40-49, age 50-59, age 60-69, age 70+)
• Scoring: Overall awards are scored on gun time: age groups scored by chip time
• Kids Race: Top 3 Boys/Girls will receive awards

Team Award: Prize awarded to the top overall team based on chip time: no limit on team size: online entry for teams only.
