Providence Monster Dash 5K

ABOUT THE RACE

Join us for the annual Providence Monster Dash on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Downtown Providence, RI. Celebrate Halloween FUN with loved ones and run or walk this FUN Halloween 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids.

RACE INFORMATION

• Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
• Time: 9:00am Kids Run (Ages 12 and under. Girls race first followed by the boys race) // 10am 5K Run/Walk
• Location: South Water Street, Providence, RI

EVENTS

• Kids Dash Run: Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under. Parents may run with their children. 9:00 am Start Time. Girls run will be first. Boys will start after the girls kids run.
• 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 Miles. As always, walkers are welcome. Please Note: No pets allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety reasons. 10am Start Time.

COSTUME CONTEST

• Individual Costume: $100 for the best individual costume.
• Team Costume: $200 for the best team costume. Minimum of three people for the team costume contest.

ENTRY FEES

• 5K Run/Walk: $32 to 7/31/2026, $34 8/1/2026 to 9/30/2026, $36 10/1/2026 to 10/24/2026, $40 Race Walk Up Registration on race day. *Online registration closes at 8p.m. on 10/24/2026. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations.
• Kids Monster Dash: $17 to 7/31/2026, $18 8/1/2026 to 9/30/2026, $19 10/1/2026 to 10/24/2026, $20 Walk Up Registration on race day.
• Note: Sorry no refunds and no pets allowed.

PACKET PICKUP &: ON-SITE REGISTRATION

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 17th, 2026, 1pm - 5pm, Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Friday, October 23rd, 2026: Noon - 6pm, Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Saturday, October 24, 2026: 10am - 5pm, Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Sunday, October 25, 2026, South Water Street, Providence, RI, 8:30am - 10am. Walk up registrations will be accepted on Saturday and Sunday. Please Note: Race t-shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations on race day.

AWARDS

• Individual Awards: Top 3 Overall, Winners (Under 19), Winners (age 20-29), Winners (age 30-39), Winners (age 40-49), Winners (age 50-59), Winners (age 60-69), Winners (age 70+).
• Overall awards: Scored on gun time. Age groups scored by chip time.
• Kids Race: Top 3 Boys/Girls in Kids race.
• Team Award: Prize will be awarded to the top overall team. Top 3 score based on chip time. No limit on Team size. Online entry for Teams only.
