DeCesaris Prout Cancer Foundation - Jingle Bell 5K/3K

Event Overview

Join the DeCesaris/Prout Cancer Foundation in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday, December 5th for the 15th Annual Jingle Bell 5K Run/1M Walk. The perfect way to start your holiday off and running!

Purpose of the Event

• Awareness Raising: This annual fundraiser is designed to raise awareness for lung and ovarian cancers.
• Healthy Lifestyle: The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is geared towards the general public as an incentive to participate in a healthy lifestyle.
• Education Opportunity: The event offers an opportunity to educate everyone about early detection of lung and ovarian cancers.
• Fundraising: The event aims to raise much needed funds to support various educational research programs and patient services.

Race Details

• 5K Start Time: The 5k run will begin at 9:00 am - please plan to arrive no later than 8:30 am.
• 3K Start Time: The 3K walk will begin at 9:05 am.
• Location: Quiet Waters Park - Sassafras Pavilion, 600 Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis, MD 21403.
• Registration Fees: 5K & 3K Run/Walk: $50 through November 15, $60 from November 16 through Race Day. 10 & Under participants are free, no shirt available.

Participant Information

• Registration Benefits: All 5K/3K registrants will receive a custom bib, long sleeve shirt and participation in the family fun run.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick up will be Friday, December 4 at Evolutions (1834 George Ave. Annapolis, MD 21401) from 3:00-7:00 pm and then on Saturday at Sassafras Pavilion starting at 8:00 am.
• Online Registration: All registrations must be done online and will be open through Race Day at 8:30 am.
• Race Premium: All persons who register prior to November 8 will receive a commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt, commemorative race bib (the 5K bibs will have a timing chip), and two jingle bells (for shoes).

Awards

There will be awards given to the overall male and female finisher, as well as the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over, plus the best costume. There will not be any awards for virtual participants.
