Join Us for the 2nd Annual Run with Heart 5K!
We’re excited to invite you to the 2nd Annual Run with Heart 5K! This out-and-back course takes runners along the beautiful Satilla Waterfront Boardwalk and greenway.
❤️ Supporting Our Community
- Beneficiary: This event supports Mamie Lou Gross Elementary’s Running Club.
- Purpose: Funds raised will help purchase running club t-shirts for all students who achieve half-marathon status by the end of the school year.
- Recognition: Students who reach full-marathon status will also receive a special hat or visor in recognition of their accomplishment.
🎓 Scholarship Initiative
- Memorial Scholarship: A portion of the proceeds will help establish the Tate Harper Memorial Scholarship.
- About Tate: This scholarship is created in memory of Tate, the infant son of one of Camden County’s vice principals, Brittany Harper.
- Legacy: Tate passed away unexpectedly last January and loved to run with pure joy.
- Eligibility: The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who participates in cross-country or track.
💖 Donation Information
Please note that 100% of online donations will go directly to the Tate Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund.
