3rd Annual FEENEY'S 5K Fun Run & Virtual Run

Become a hero and enjoy a day of excitement at the 3rd Annual Feeney’s 5K Fun Run and Virtual Run. This year’s event is dedicated to supporting the initiative to install Lifesaving Billboards across Georgia during 2026, spreading the crucial message: “Don’t be a BYSTANDER. CALL 911. Be a LIFESAVER.”

📅 Fun Run Details

• DATE: March 8, 2026, 9:30 AM (Live Event): February 14-March 8, 2026 (Virtual--pick your run day!)
• LOCATION: Brook Run Park. Enter the park off of Peeler Road on Dekalb Drive and take the first left after the maintenance shop into the parking lot. Additional parking can be found at the Peachtree Middle School by the Baseball Fields off N. Peachtree Rd. The Run is located at the amphitheater.
• COURSE: 5K Run/Walk through Brook Run Park
• DOGS WELCOME: Outside of the confines of the Dog Park, your dog is required by law to be leashed, including between your car and the gates of the Dog Park. Please make sure you use your best leash manners. A retractable leash can be dangerous at an event like this. It offers too many opportunities to trip up other runners or walkers. Instead, opt for a short leash that keeps your dog walking by your side. Be a good pet parent.
• STROLLERS WELCOME: Strollers are welcome on the course, but please remain behind all timed runners near the back of the start line.

🎭 Costume Contest

• WEAR RED: Red socks, hats, shirts or any "silly" red gear to honor Feeney's fun spirit.
• CREATE A TEAM: Rally friends, family, and colleagues to join you!
• CAPTURE THE FUN: Snap pics, take videos, share, and tag us!

🎁 Perks of Having Fun

• T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed if registered by February 16, 2026.
• VIRTUAL SWAG: All virtual participants get a swag mailer.

• REGISTRATION: Registration at Brook Run Park: 3/8/26 8:00am-9:00am Registration is available on race morning via QR code. Credit or debit card only.
• TIMING & RESULTS: Elite Race Timing: live results at the finish line and online at Elite Race Timing.
• RESTROOMS: Available on-site.

🏅 Award Categories

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place male and female medals in each age group 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Top Male and Female under 40 years. Top Male and Female Master Runner age 40+.

🎉 FUNTIMES! AFTER the RUN

• FUNTIMES! after Run!
• Food, DJ, vendors, games...great time to know FLPers.
• Bring the dog, the kids, the family, the neighbors...a chair or blanket.
