Juneteenth Atlanta 5K Freedom Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Purpose: Juneteenth Atlanta is running for freedom, liberty, human rights, social justice, judicial reform, and world peace, and you're invited!
• Participation: Run, Walk, Roll, or Crawl for freedom and human rights!
• Inspiration: From the start line to the finish line, anyway you want to do it!
• Tribute: Let's run, walk, and roll in tribute to all those who fought/fight for freedom.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Race Date: Sunday, June 21, 2026
• Race Start Time: 5K - 9:00 am
• Cost: 5K - $30 until May 10th @ 11:59 pm, then $35.00
• Location: Piedmont Park - 400 Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30306

🏆 Course and Registration

• Course: The same course as 2025 laps Piedmont Park.
• Packet Pickup: Race Day Bib pickup starting at 7:00 am will be at the welcome tent on Charles Allen inside Piedmont Park off 10th street.
• Items: T-Shirts and bibs will be available at the welcome tent, and finisher medals will be handed out at the finish line on 10th street close to Park Tavern.
• T-Shirts: All participants will receive a race t-shirt.

🎖️ Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Male/Female Overall winners will be recognized.
• Age Groups: Awards for 3 Deep - 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Up.

• Option 3: Behind Park Tavern @ 500 10th St, SE Atlanta 30309
• Public Transport: Marta Station @ 10 ST NE is a 0.08 mile walk to Piedmont Park.
