Overview
- Event Type: Free, untimed fun run/walk/roll
- Accessibility: Open to participants of all fitness levels
- Goal: Finish the 5k route before The Shadow
- Route: Participants will follow a bicycle lead on a marked route along Fort Wayne Trails
Race Details
- Start Time: The Shadow launches at 12:00 PM
- Participant Launch: We launch at 12:05 PM
- Awards: Begin at 1 PM for first place male, female, boy, and girl (under 13)
- Traffic: Please follow traffic laws at road crossings
Dress Code
- Attire: Wear your best ninja suit, tuxedo T-shirt, or simply a black T-shirt
- Encouragement: Only time to dress in black while running or walking
- Clock: A race clock will be available on site
- Social Sharing: Record your activity and share on social media
Community Support
- Donations: Collecting non-perishable kitchen items for local families in need
- Needed Items: Canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and canned proteins
- Drop-Off: Food donations can be dropped off at check-in on race day
- All Ages: Welcome to participate regardless of athletic ability
