Honor Run 2026 - KCSEBA

🏅 Event Overview

Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association 12th Annual Honor Run

• Proceeds: Proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association and will be used to assist the families of our fallen deputies by providing scholarships for the children left behind.
• Support: A portion of the money raised will be used to support the Sheriff's Activities League (SAL) supervised youth activities and programs throughout the county.

🕒 Race Day Details

• Registration: Race Day registration for 5K and 10K begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.
• Start Time: 5K and 10K runs will start at 8:15 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $50*
• Youth Race: Kids 1K race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.
• Start Time: Kids 1K run will start at 8:00 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $10*

*does not include online processing fees

📅 Registration Information

Online registration will close at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. (Shirt size guaranteed if registered prior to February 5, 2026)

📍 Location

• Start Location: The race will begin at Section 2 of Hart Park with parking located around the park and near the site of the run.
• Packet Pick-up: There will be a pre-race packet pick-up on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kern County Regional Training Center, located at 962 Norris Road, Bakersfield, 93308.

🏆 Awards and Raffle

After the race - medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division and a runners raffle!

👟 Additional Information

• Walking: Participants in the event are also welcome to walk the race route.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome.
• Dogs: Runners who want to bring their leashed dogs for the run are welcome to do so.
• Water Options: There will be water bowls at the turnaround points for your canine buddies!!!
