Event Details

• Event Name: Miles for Midwives 5k walk/run/roll
• Date and Time: 10am on May 16, 2026
• Location: Champoeg State Park, halfway between Oregon City and Salem
• Purpose: Raises awareness about the impact midwives have on improving outcomes in maternal and infant health

Support The Cause

• Contributions: Money raised will go directly to improving maternal health care in Oregon.
• Beneficiaries: All proceeds benefit The Oregon Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Oregon Midwifery Council.

Center For Hope & Safety

• Donation: 10% of your registration will go directly to The Center for Hope & Safety.
• Mission: Independent nonprofit offering safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.

Diaper Drive

• Need: One in two families cannot afford diapers.
• Donation: Please bring new cloth or disposable diapers for donation to local nonprofit diaper banks on the day of the event.
• Network: Donations will be delivered into The National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN).

Registration

• Open Registration: Registration is open from Feb 24th until the start of the race on May 15th at 11pm through this event page on RunSignup.com.
• Early Bird: Registrations before May 3rd to receive a souvenir T-shirt and a discounted registration price of $48.
• T-shirt Notice: T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after May 3rd.
• Late Registration: Registration starting at 5pm on Friday, May 15th, through race day will be $58 and T-shirt availability is not guaranteed.

Free Registration for Youth

Registration for ages 16 and under is FREE.
