Grab your buns and get ready — it’s time to ketchup with your friends at The Wiener Run! Join us this May for a hilarious, high-energy, springtime celebration of running, picnics, and pups — complete with a free hot dog and beverage at the finish line! 🐾🌸

• Community Focus: We’re proud to partner with a local wiener dog rescue group, donating a portion of proceeds to help fund their rescue operations.
• Donations: We will also be collecting dog food, toys, and treats for our four-legged friends — so bring a bag and show some puppy love!
• Full Experience: This isn’t just a run — it’s a full-on BBQ bash with a side of community love.
• Join Us: We’ll have a laugh-filled day for everyone involved!

1 Mile – “The Little Wiener Run”

• Timing: Not chip-timed.

5K (3.11 miles) – “The Short Wiener Run”

• Timed Race: Chip-timed with awards, music, and post-race celebration!

• Masters Recognition: 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only)

• Role: Be part of the action and then earn your bun!
• Included: Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.
• Schedule: Arrive 1.5 hrs early to help with packet pickup, run the 5K, and help hand out awards post-race.
• Availability: Limited to first 5 sign-ups only.

Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role)

• Role: Perfect for those who want to help but not run this time.
• Benefits: Volunteers Receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon gift card.

Check-in: 1.5 hours before start time at the Registration Tent.

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day.
• Weather: Rain or shine — it’s BBQ season either way!
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start.
• Course Surface: Expect a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths.
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks — please share the path with dog walkers and picnickers.
