Conveniently located just two hours north of Atlanta, we welcome you to the heart of the North Georgia mountains for the inaugural Hiawassee Half Marathon & 5K!
Course Details
- Starting Point: The race starts and finishes in the charming Hiawassee Town Square.
- Scenic Route: This scenic road race showcases the beauty of our mountain-lake community.
- Lake Chatuge Views: Both courses feature stunning views of Lake Chatuge.
- Terrain: Primarily flat terrain and well-maintained road surfaces suitable for all experience levels.
Race Schedule
- Half Marathon: 7:30 am Start: 4 hour time limit (18 min 20 sec mile)
- 5K: 8:30 am Start
Pricing
- 5K Registration: $35 ($45 after January 31, 2026)
- Half Marathon Registration: $85 ($95 after January 31, 2026)
