Starting and finishing in the charming Hiawassee Town Square, this scenic road race showcases the beauty of our mountain-lake community.

• Course Overview: Both courses feature stunning views of Lake Chatuge, with the half marathon offering a full 360-degree tour around its sparkling shoreline.
• Terrain: With primarily flat terrain and well-maintained road surfaces, runners of all experience levels can enjoy a smooth, fast course surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
• Half Marathon Start: 7:30 am Start: 4 hour time limit (18 min 20 sec mile)
• 5K Start: 8:30 am Start

• 5K Registration: $35 ($45 after January 31, 2026)
• Half Marathon Registration: $85 ($95 after January 31, 2026)
• Refund Policy: No refunds. No transfers. No deferrals. No exceptions.
• Charity: 100% Non-Profit Race. Net proceeds will benefit the Hikeawassee free Appalachian Trail hiker shuttle!
