Clayton's Hardest & Funnest 5k

Race Overview

Back again for the Second Annual Clayton’s Hardest and Funnest 5k and festival! The unique 5k will be set up as 4 - .75 mile laps each ending a different 100 FOOT lane challenge.

Lap Challenges

• Lap 1: Lunges
• Lap 2: Bear Crawl
• Lap 3: Burpee Broad Jump
• Lap 4: SPRINT

Participation Details

• Format: The 5k can be completed as an individual or RELAY of up to 4 people.
• Eligibility: The 5k event is open to ALL AGES and ABILITIES (registration required: includes tshirt & finisher award).
• Kids Run: There will also be a KIDS RUN for those 10 years and younger (registration required: includes tshirt & finisher award).
• Registration Deadline: Deadline for guaranteed tshirt March 1st.

Race Details

• Date & Time: The 5k race will take place at 9a, Saturday, March 20th 2027.
• Location: Race course is located on the green space behind the City of Clayton Town Hall and Festival will take place at Rabun County Pavilions.
• Parking: Parking available in both city and county lots.
• Schedule:
  • Festival area opens (packet pick-up) 7:30a
  • Pre-race meeting at start line 8:45a
  • 5K START 9a
  • Kids Run Start 10a
  • Awards in Festival area 10:30a
  • Race Course closes at 11a
  • Festival area open until 12p

Post-Race Celebration

Come for the run, stay for the FUN! Local sponsors and vendors will greet you after the finish in the pavilion to celebrate!
