- Welcome: Strollers and walkers, well-behaved leased dogs at the back of the pack

- Post-Race: One free beer for everyone of age who crosses the finish line, provided by the Ugly Dog Pub
Awards and Competitions
- Awards Ceremony: Starts at 7 PM
- Categories: Overall top male and female, top Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters
- Age Divisions: Top 3 finishers in each 5-year age division
- Incentives: $100 for anyone beating the course record (16:57): $50 for anyone setting a new age category record
Parking and Amenities
- Race Day Registration: Starts at 3 PM, please allow enough time to get checked in
- Parking Options: Available around Kelsey Hutchinson Park, Highlands Recreation Park, Highlands Ball-field, and Highlands Post Office
- Weather: Rarely above 80 degrees in summer: always cool in the evening
- Dog Policy: Friendly dogs on lease welcome at the back of the pack
