Lenny and Joe's Madison Turkey Trot

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025
• Time: 10 am
• Location: 26 Meetinghouse Lane, Madison, CT
• About: The 47th annual Lenny & Joe's Madison Turkey Trot is organized and run by the Madison Jaycees. The 5-mile race and 2-mile walk start and end on the historic Madison Town Green.

🌅 Course Details

• Scenic Views: Both run and walk courses feature views of Long Island Sound and picturesque shoreline neighborhoods.
• Course Map: For a course map, please visit www.madisonjc.com.
• Registration: ONLINE registration is open until the start of race!
• Performance: The 5-mile run is USATF Course Certified and uses RFID chips.

👕 Participation Perks

• T-Shirts: Long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,500 pre-registered runners and walkers.
• Post-Race Party: Participants will enjoy a festive post-race party and refreshments.
• Prizes: Awards to the top 3 overall finishers male and female, based on official start time.
• Age Groups: Prizes for age groups based on chip time: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, and so on up to 100+, as appropriate.

📅 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Packet pick-up at Lenny & Joe's in Madison, 1301 Boston Post Rd.
• Dates: Tuesday Nov. 25th and Wednesday Nov. 26th from 11 am-6 pm.
• Race Day: Check-in is available the morning of the race.
• Registration Fees: $20 for walkers and $30 for runners, increasing on November 20th.

🤝 Community Engagement

• Jaycees Mission: The Madison Jaycees assist individuals, families, and charitable organizations along the CT shoreline through events.
• Fundraising: Proceeds from the Turkey Trot support community needs.
• Gratitude: Thank you for your participation and we look forward to seeing you on Thanksgiving morning!

🚗 Parking Information

• Nearby Lots: Parking available at several lots near the Madison Green, including the Senior Center and Stop and Shop.
• Private Lots: Graciously allow parking from local churches and organizations.
• Considerate Parking: Please refrain from parking on grass and non-marked spaces.

⏰ Event Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Tuesday Nov. 25th and Wednesday Nov. 26th from 11 am-6 pm at Lenny and Joe's.
• Race Day: 5-mile run starts at 10:00 am, followed by the 2-mile walk at 10:05 am.
• Strollers and Pets: Allowed on the walk course: not allowed on the run course.
• Awards: Served immediately following the 5-mile race, with Best Costume awards given at the end.
