Step into a world of courage, chaos, and capes at the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon, where YOU decide—will you race for good or for mischief? Join Bigfoot Running Company for a day of high-energy fun, amazing costumes, and heroic performances across multiple race distances. Whether you’re chasing glory in the Half Marathon or just out for a family-friendly 1 Mile run, you’ll experience all the festive energy Bigfoot events are known for:

All finishers in every distance receive a medal and shirt!

Youth-Based Pricing: 5K & 10K participants aged 12 & under run for only $15!

• Kids Dash: 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under) - Includes a race tee, medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: For all ages and experience levels (untimed)
• 5K: (3.11 miles) – Chip timed
• Quarter Marathon: (6.55 miles) – Chip timed
• Half Marathon: (13.1 miles) – Chip timed

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 5:30 AM – 6:45 AM – Grab your bib, shirt, and any pre-ordered swag.
• Costume Contest: 6:50 AM – Strut your stuff as your favorite hero or villain!
• Kids Dash: 6:55 AM – Our little Yeti heroes take center stage!
• Race Start: 7:00 AM – Time to hit the course!

Post-Race Festivities

Join us for live results, awards ceremony, DJ playing all the hits, Bigfoot Trophy & age group awards presentation, snacks, refreshments at the Race Rally Tent, finish line photos, music, and celebration.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run: 5K Distance Only - Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners!
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals and refreshments.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the Bigfoot suit, cheer, and take photos!

Course & Experience

All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start.
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks: please be courteous.
