Registration is now open for the 3rd annual InStepWithSam Legacy Run happening on 6-7-26!
Event Overview
- Purpose: More than ever, the world needs the togetherness and kindness that Sam inspired in us all.
- Celebration: Let’s celebrate Sam's spirit of unity, community, and connection—one stride at a time.
- Participation: Whether you’re a dedicated runner, a casual walker, or just want to cheer from the sidelines, there is something for everyone.
- Activities: Choose from a 5K, a 1-mile walk/run, or a Kids Fun Run, and enjoy a day filled with food trucks, a bounce house, and a memorable Sam-inspired service project.
Virtual Participation
- Options Available: Not in Ann Arbor? Not a problem. Not only do we have a virtual option, but new this year we are holding meetups in cities across the United States and abroad.
- Community Connection: You can connect with community wherever you are.
Registration Deadlines
- Save on Fees: Register by April 10 to save $5, and by May 10 to receive a free t-shirt!
- Accessibility: Cost should not prohibit anyone from attending.

Beneficiary
Proceeds from the race will go to the Samantha Woll Center for Jewish Detroit.
