GCR is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 13th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race this year on Thanksgiving!

Event Details

• Date: 2026-11-26
• Location: 755 8th Ave S., Naples, FL

• Distances: 5K, 1 Mile, Kids 1K & 100 Yard Dash

Packet Pick Up

• Pre-Race Packet Pick Up: Tuesday 11/24 & Wednesday 11/25 at Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S. Naples, FL 34102)
• Hours: 11AM-4PM
• Race Day Packet Pick Up: Starting at 6AM - NOT RECOMMENDED
• Time: Must arrive no later than 6:00 AM for packet pickup, available 6:00 AM-7:25 AM

Participation Guidelines

• Walkers: Welcome for both the 1 mile walk and the 5K.
• Starting Position: Walkers/strollers/dogs etc. please start near the back!
• Start Time: Official start at 7:30 AM: those near the back will cross around 7:35 AM
• Chip Timing: Your chip time will not start until you cross the official start line.

Kids Races

• Cost: Free, but do NOT include a shirt!
• Registration: A parent must sign them up to agree to the waiver.
• Medals: Given to kids, likely from a past Thanksgiving Day GCR race.

Course and Amenities

• Course: Starts on 5th Avenue and winds through downtown Naples!
• Parking: Plenty of FREE parking available (multiple 4 story parking garages within 200m of packet pickup).
• Participant Shirts: Provided to all paid participants!
• Finisher Medals: Awarded to all finishers!

Charity and Community

• Beneficiaries: St. Matthew's House and our Youth Development/Scholarship Fund.
• Canned Goods: Please bring non-perishable items to packet pick-up or the registration area on race day.

Event Duration

The course will be open for 90 minutes.
