🎉 Race Festivities

• Fun Activities: We will have some fun yard games and activities set up on the school yard to enjoy during and after the race while waiting for awards to be given out!
• Family-Friendly: Bring the whole family to cheer on our runners!

👣 Race Overview

• Theme: Race with Bigfoot through Marion before enjoying the WNC Bigfoot Festival downtown!
• Proceeds: Proceeds will go to the general fund at Marion Elementary School.

📅 Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Packet pick-up will be August 22nd, 5-7 pm at Marion Elementary School.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available before the race begins starting at 7 AM.

🏁 Race Start

• Time: Race Start: 8 AM at Marion Elementary School in the side parking lot near library.
• Parking: You can park at the church across the street (both sides) and along the road around the school.

🏆 Awards Structure

• Categories: Top 3 males and females overall and in the following age groups will be recognized:
• Age Groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and above.

🗺️ Race Route

• Start: Start out at Marion Elementary parking lot.
• Route Details: Turn right onto Robert St., continue to McDowell Ave, and follow multiple turns around the neighborhood before returning to the starting point.
