• Event: Join us for the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County’s inaugural Day For Life 5k Run/Walk and Mile Fun Run/Walk, the kickoff to our Burke Day For Life celebration–a day of community, family, music, food, and fun for all ages.

🌄 Race Details

• 5K Race: Begins at 8:00 am: the start and finish line will be at Burkemont Baptist Church.
• Course: The course rolls through the beautiful countryside along the base of Burkemont Mountain. Take in the fresh air and scenery of the NC Foothills during peak autumn season.
• Special Features: The race route goes through Double E Farms–a working farm with beef cattle, lambs, corn fields and a pumpkin patch.
• Awards: After crossing the finish line, awards will be given for each age group, male and female.

🎉 Fun Activities

• Mile Fun Run/Walk: Begins at 9:30 am and will be a loop course, also starting and finishing at Burkemont Baptist Church.
• Participation: All ages are encouraged to participate.
• Celebration: After the races, enjoy food trucks, live music, carnival games and treats, door prizes and a raffle.
• Proceeds: All proceeds from these events support the services of the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County.

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Guarantee: T-Shirts are guaranteed through September 29, 2025.
• Availability: Additional shirts will be available on day of the race first come first serve and sizes are not guaranteed.

📦 Packet Pick Up Information

• Early Pick Up: Early packet pick up will be held at Burkemont Baptist Church from 2-4pm on Friday, October 17, 2025.
• Encouragement: We encourage everyone to pick up early as this helps with logistics on race morning.
• Race Day: Packets will be available to pick up on race day starting at 7am.
