About this race
Event Overview
Celebrate the Christmas season with us in downtown Avon Park as we light up the night with a stunning display of Christmas lighting! This year's event benefits the Who I Am Foundation and our local Foster Care Children, Special Needs Children and Adults, and our Senior Memory Care initiatives. The Jingle Bell Run has been a cherished tradition for over 20 years, combining community spirit with festive Christmas fun. This year special need children and adult participants from Ridge Area ARC will be joining us and bringing up the rear of the race.
Participant Information
- SWAG Bag: Each participant will receive a SWAG Bag full of goodies at registration and a Christmas ornament at the finish line.
- T-Shirt Purchase: There is an optional t-shirt purchase to be completed before December 1st to make sure we have your size in your swag bag!
Race Route
Enjoy miles of Avon Park's Christmas lights as you walk or run around Avon Park's beautiful mile-long mall.
Race Schedule
- Children's Fun Run: Starts at 6:30 p.m.
- 5K Race: Starts at 7:00 p.m.
- Participant Arrangement: Runners front, Walkers in middle, Special Need and IDD Children and Adults bring up the rear.
Children's Fun Run
The Children's Fun Run is a one block run, designed for children who want to race Santa! Kids will receive a bag of goodies at the finish line! Cost for children's Fun Run: $5.00. Children MUST BE REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE.
Donation Drive
We will also be collecting new pairs of pajamas the night of the race to be given to Foster Care Children through Central Florida's Heartland For Children Foster Care Program and Lake Placid's Worthy and Known Family Projects.
