Race Overview

This November, gear up for the Turkey Shuffle, the premiere race of our exciting new series in the Texas Hill Country.

The Turkey Shuffle is the perfect way to continue your Thanksgiving festivities and work off those feast calories. Taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, this event offers a range of distances to suit all runners:

• Distances: Choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek.
• Kids Dash: A fun sprint of approximately 50 meters, designed for children aged 10 and under.

As you run through the vibrant fall colors and enjoy a break from the Texas heat, DJ Sasquatch will keep you energized with the best music.

• Awards: Every runner will be recognized with age group awards celebrating your achievements.
• Costume Contest: Dress up in your most creative Thanksgiving-themed outfit for a chance to win a Trophy and a prize pack.
• Prizes: Includes a certificate for 2 free future races and a $25 HEB gift card for your Thanksgiving feast.

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss!

Event Details

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event.

• Finishers' Medals: All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.
• Pricing: Youth-based pricing for the 5k & 10K - 12 & Under are only $15!
• Referral Bonus: Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.
• Group Discounts: Join as a group for special discounts!

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: For kids 10 and under, about a 50-meter dash, non-timed with a tee shirt, medal, and recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages, non-chip timed, includes a tee shirt and medal.
• 5K: A chip-timed event with trophies for overall winners and age group awards.
• 10K: A chip-timed event featuring the same awards as the 5K.

Standard Age Group Awards for 5K & 10K

Prizes include trophies and special recognition pins for various age categories.

Event Schedule

• 9:30-10:40am: Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes before the race.
• 10:55am: Kids Dash starts.
• 11:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Awards: Results and awards are live immediately following your finish.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join us as a volunteer and run the 5K as well!

• Roles Available: Course Monitor, Aid Station volunteer, Finish Line Helper, and more.
• Registration: Volunteers arrive 1.5 hours before the event and check in at the registration tent.
• Benefits: Earn a Bigfoot race shirt, souvenir medal, and your choice of a free race entry or gift card.
• Special Option: Volunteer then run for limited slots.

Registration Information

Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time. Additional packet pickups will be communicated via email.

This race is held at Flat Creek Estate. Participants should expect mixed running surfaces including dirt paths and grass.
