Remember all the hugs and handshakes you’ve had on Labor Day mornings since 2015 at the Bluebird Run and Walk for Brookie B? Let’s do it again. If you’ve just found out about us, you don’t want to miss this.

🌲 Course Details

• 5K Trail Course: Our 5K trail course is one of the most beautiful and challenging in Tallahassee.
• Loop Format: Wide multi-use trails make a loop through the greenway, starting and ending at the trailhead.
• Participant Feedback: Past participants have said, “You’ll never forget your first Bluebird.”

🏅 Fun Run Experience

• 1 Mile Fun Run: Our 1 Mile Fun Run course is unique with an out-and-back canopy trail that crosses the Lafayette Heritage Canopy Bridge.
• Water Station: A treat for runners and walkers alike, there is a water station at the turnaround on the other side of the bridge.

🎉 Event Atmosphere

• Registration: A huge tent with party lights will welcome you to the greenway as registration begins at 7:00 am.
• Refreshments: There will be sports drinks, bottled water, watermelon, bananas and an assortment of treats including sno-cones.
• Memory Lane: The LOSS Team of the Big Bend will set up a special area called Memory Lane in honor of the loved ones we have lost to suicide.
• Mental Health Fair: Our Mental Health Fair will give you the opportunity to receive information from many of our local mental health care providers.

👟 Participation Options

• Walking Participation: We expect to have a lot of walkers in this event, so we are offering entry fees both with and without timing.
• Timing Options: If you want to record an official time you will receive a race bib. If you do not want to record an official time you will not receive a race bib.
