The Borough of Bridgeport is very excited to announce that we will be hosting our 8th Annual Bridgeport 5K. The Bridgeport 5K will benefit two fantastic organizations that are cornerstones within the Bridgeport Community - The Bridgeport Fire Department, and the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard. Once again, we will welcome runners throughout the region to “test their skills on our hills” and join us in supporting this wonderful charity.
The mission of the Bridgeport 5K is to showcase our town to visitors and residents alike, encourage volunteerism, and provide a different, challenging, and unique course for avid runners and walkers alike.
📅 Event Details
The 2025 Bridgeport 5K will include:
- 5K run/walk: Join us for a scenic challenge.
- Kids Fun Run: A fun activity for younger participants.
- Live entertainment: Enjoy music as you run.
- Race ceremony: Celebrate the participants and winners.
Registration will begin at 7:30am, the 5K will commence at 9:00am, and the Kids Run Fun will start after the 5K has concluded.
📍 Location
Registration/Starting Line will be located at Rotondo Riverfront Park, behind 96 DeKalb Street, Bridgeport PA, 19405.
🏆 Awards
Awards will be given for:
- Top 3 male/female: Recognition for the fastest runners.
- Acknowledgment of top 3 male/female times: Each age bracket will be considered.
- Participation medals: For kids joining the fun.

Come join us for our 8th annual 5K that will take participants through the bustling town of Bridgeport! Bring your friends and family along and help support our beneficiaries, The Bridgeport Fire Department and The Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard, while enjoying:
- Live DJ: Music to motivate you as you run.
- Refreshments: Provided by local vendors.
- Water station: Stay hydrated during the run.
- Race t-shirts and gift bags: Take home a souvenir from the event.
Course time limit is 1 hour.

When: Friday, October 3, from 5:30PM-7:00PM
