Bridgeport 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Borough of Bridgeport is very excited to announce that we will be hosting our 9th Annual Bridgeport 5K. The Bridgeport 5K will benefit two fantastic organizations that are cornerstones within the Bridgeport Community - The Bridgeport Fire Department and the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard. Once again, we will welcome runners throughout the region to “test their skills on our hills” and join us in supporting this wonderful charity.

The mission of the Bridgeport 5K is to showcase our town to visitors and residents alike, encourage volunteerism, and provide a different, challenging, and unique course for avid runners and walkers alike.

Event Details

• Date: 2026-10-03
• Location: Rotondo Riverfront Park, Bridgeport, PA
• Start Time: Registration begins at 7:30am, 5K starts at 9:00am
• Kids Fun Run: Begins after the 5K concluded

Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 male/female
• Age Brackets: Acknowledgment of top 3 male/female times in each age bracket
• Participation: Medals for kids
• Recognition: Celebrate achievements and community support

Amenities

• Refreshments: Enjoy food from local vendors
• Entertainment: Live DJ to keep the vibes up
• Water Stations: Ensure hydration throughout the race
• Course Limit: 1 hour time limit for the race

Packet Pickup

• When: Friday, October 2, from 5:30PM-7:00PM
• Where: Puddlers Kitchen & Tap @ Conshohocken Brewery, 3 Dekalb Street, Bridgeport, 19405
• Collection: Make sure to pick up your packets before race day
• Timing: Professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.

Additional Information

Important Note: We always strive to ensure that enough race shirts and swag bags are ordered for every participant. However, we must place the order for shirts and bags several weeks prior to the event in order to ensure they are delivered on time, and therefore ordering quantities are based on educated guesses and projections. Because of this, we cannot always guarantee that late signups will receive giveaways, and may not be able to accommodate requests for changes in shirt size. Thank you for your understanding.

Starting with the 9th Annual Bridgeport 5K, the Borough is proud to spotlight local running coach, Alli Phanthavong, to provide free 5K training plans and group runs ahead of the big day.
