Brookline Bolt 5K Run/Walk by Scribbles

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the Brookline PTOs 10th Annual Brookline Bolt 5K Run/Walk by Scribbles on Sunday, May 31, 2025! We will again be holding this year’s run/walk at beautiful Camp Tevya, located next to Lake Potanipo.

📏 Course Details

• Course Type: The 5K course is out and back on the picturesque Tevya Section of the Brookline Rail Trail.
• Terrain: While the terrain is mostly flat, it might be difficult to navigate with a stroller (jogging strollers handle the course just fine).
• Participants: Walkers and runners are all welcome!
• Event Rules: Please note that pets are not allowed for this event.

👕 Race Day Shirts

• Fundraiser: Traditionally this race has been a major fundraiser for the Brookline PTO.
• Shirt Inclusions: Each 5k registration includes a race day shirt with Early Bird registration!
• Availability: A limited number of race day shirts will be available for purchase via Advanced registration and the day of the event.
• Shirt Price: Shirts will be sold for $20. Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted.

👶 Kids Fun Run

• Free Participation: The Fun Run is free for all kids, regardless if participating in the 5k Run/Walk or not.
• Start Time: The Fun Run will begin at 9:30am sharp, and will be immediately followed by the 5k at 10:00am.
• Shirt Option: Fun Run registrants have an option to purchase a shirt at sign-up for $20 (fee is waived if also registering for the 5k).
• Awards: Make sure to collect your Fun Run award at the end of the Fun Run race!

💵 Registration Pricing

• Ages 4 and under: Free!
• Ages 5-12: $20 through 4/15, or $25 from 4/16 through 5/30.
• Ages 13+: $30 through 4/15, or $35 from 4/16 through 5/30.
• Same-Day Registration: Limited amount available for $30 (ages 5-12) or $40 (ages 13+).

🎁 Raffle Prizes

Donate to the food pantry on race day to enter to win amazing raffle prizes! On race day, each 5k race participant will receive one free raffle ticket with a donation of one or more unexpired items for the Brookline Food Pantry. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
