Event Overview
We hope you will join us for this year’s half marathon and 5K on Sunday September 27th, 2026!
The Apple Harvest Ramble Half Marathon and 5K is run at the beginning of the fall foliage and the peak of the apple picking season. The challenging course runs by some of the most magnificent views of the Nashoba Valley.
Water Stops
- Locations: Water stops at ~2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12.
- Finish Line: Water available at the finish line.
Race Schedule
- Half Marathon: Starts at 9:00 AM.
- 5K: Starts at 9:15 AM.
- Finish Location: Both will finish at Bromfield High School.
- Starting Locations: Separate starting locations for each race.

Where & When
- Date: Sunday, September 27th, 2026, 9:00 AM (Half Marathon start).
- Start Time: 5K will start at 9:15 AM.
- Location: The Bromfield School, 14 Massachusetts Ave., Harvard, MA.
- Directions: From Rt. 2 take exit 38A, Bromfield High School is on Rt. 111, 2 miles on the right: from Rt. 495 take exit 28, Bromfield High School is on Rt. 111, 2 miles on the left.
Registration Details
Half Marathon:
- Cost: $55 – Before August 14th.
- Cost: $70 – Before September 1st (guaranteed t-shirt deadline).
- Cost: $80 – Before September 26th.
- Cost: $85 – Race Day.
5K:
- Cost: $25 – Before August 14th.
- Cost: $30 – Before September 1st (guaranteed t-shirt deadline).
- Cost: $35 – Before September 26th.
- Cost: $40 – Race Day.
High-quality, long sleeve technical shirts are included if registered by 9/1. There are no t-shirts the day of the race.
Divisions
- Junior: 18 and under.
- Open: 19 – 29.
- Sub Masters: 30 – 39.
- Masters: 40 – 49.
- Seniors: 50 – 59.
- Veterans: 60 – 69.
- 70 and Over: 70+.
Awards and Prizes
- Categories: Prizes will be awarded to the top-3 in each category.
- Awards Collection: A “drive through” awards ceremony where runners can pick up the awards by stopping at the awards table.
- Unclaimed Awards: This process aims to benefit runners, as many awards go unclaimed each year.
- Eligibility: Runners are eligible for only one award.
