About this race
Bundle up and join us for the Cold for a Cause 5K, a winter race with a warm mission!
On February 27, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will gather at Sarg Hubbard Park to brave the cold, get moving, and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a new personal best, a casual walker looking for a fun Saturday morning activity, or somewhere in between, there's a place for you at the Cold for a Cause 5K. Come race, walk, laugh, and maybe shiver a little—all while supporting Yakima Union Gospel Mission and its work to help people move from homelessness toward wholeness.
Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your warmest gear.
Because when we come together, we can turn a cold day into an opportunity to bring hope, shelter, and care to our community.
