BWL Hometown Power 5k

Event Overview

Join us for the 16th Annual Hometown Power 5K Race on Saturday, August 8th. This is an accurate 5K on paved roads. All registered participants will receive a tech shirt and finisher medal.

Proceeds

• Purpose: All funds raised will support Pennies for Power to help families in need in the Lansing area pay their utility bills.

Location

• Starting Point: Race will start at BWL REO Town Headquarters on S. Washington Ave at 9:15 a.m.
• Course: The course will run through city streets in neighborhoods around the REO Town building and on the Lansing River Trail.

Pricing

• Early Registration: $25 until 8/5
• Late Registration: $30 after 8/5

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top male and female finisher, Masters male and female (over 40), Grandmaster male and female (over 50)
• Age Group Awards: Award to top place finisher in each age group.

Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Day before race, Friday August 7th
• Time: 1 - 5 p.m. at REO Depot and race day from 7:30-9:00 am.

Parking

• Availability: Street parking is available throughout REO Town.
• Additional Parking: Parking is available in the BWL lot near Cinnaire.

Timing
