BWL Hometown Power 5k

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Join us for the 15th Annual Hometown Power 5K Race on Saturday, August 9th. This is an accurate 5K on paved roads. All registered participants will receive a tech shirt and finisher medal.

💰 Proceeds

• Support: All funds raised will support Pennies for Power to help families in need in the Lansing area pay their utility bills.

📍 Location

• Start Point: Race will start at BWL REO Town Headquarters on S. Washington Ave at 9:15 a.m.
• Course: The course will run through city streets in neighborhoods around REO Town building and on the Lansing River Trail.

💵 Pricing

• Early Registration: $25 until 8/6
• Standard Registration: $30 after 8/6

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top male and female finisher
• Masters Awards: Masters male and female (over 40)
• Grandmasters Awards: Grandmaster male and female (over 50)
• Age Groups: Awards to top place finisher in each age group, 10-and-under to 80-over.

📋 Packet Pick-Up

• Day Before: Friday, August 8th from 1 - 5 p.m. at REO Depot
• Race Day: From 7:30-8:45 a.m.

🚗 Parking

• Availability: Street parking is available throughout REO Town.
• Additional Parking: Parking in the BWL lot near Cinnaire.

⚠️ Registration Reminder

Be sure to register early! There is no race day registration.

⏱️ Timing

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and on this website.
