Event Details
Join us for the 16th Annual Hometown Power 5K Race on Saturday, August 8th. This is an accurate 5K on paved roads. All registered participants will receive a tech shirt and finisher medal.
Proceeds
- Beneficiary: All funds raised will support Pennies for Power to help families in need in the Lansing area pay their utility bills.
Location
- Start Time: Race will start at BWL REO Town Headquarters on S. Washington Ave at 9:15 a.m.
- Course: The course will run through city streets in neighborhoods around REO Town building and on the Lansing River Trail.
Pricing
- Cost: $25 until 8/5, then $30
Awards
- Overall: Awards to top male and female finisher, Masters male and female (over 40), Grandmaster male and female (over 50)
- Age Groups: Award to top place finisher in each age group.

Packet Pick-Up

- Race Day: Packet pick-up from 7:30-9:00 am.
Parking
- Availability: Street parking is available throughout REO Town.
- Location: Parking in the BWL lot near Cinnaire.
Timing
The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and on this website.
