SHAY Boba Run

SHAY Boba Run is a fun-filled community 5K celebrating movement, connection, and giving back—topped off with a refreshing boba from Sharetea at the finish line! This unique run/walk, in partnership with Sharetea, brings together runners, walkers, families, and boba lovers of all ages for a meaningful cause.

All proceeds from the SHAY Boba Run support the SHAY Scholarship Program, which provides educational opportunities and support to students pursuing their dreams. By participating, you’re not just crossing a finish line—you’re helping invest in the future of our community.

Whether you’re running for a personal best, walking with friends, or simply there for the boba, your participation helps spread hope, encouragement, and support—one step and one sip at a time. 💜🧋

Children 10 and under receive a special rate automatically during registration.

About Spreading Help Around You, SHAY:

Spreading Help Around You is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2014 in honor of Shaylyn Anela Pinoliar, who tragically passed away on November 14, 2012. Our mission is to help and support families who have lost a loved one, educate them on the importance of being prepared during such a time of loss, and provide active service to the community.  As well as promoting Pedestrian Safety Awareness. This year, we proudly launched the SHAY Scholarship Program, marking an exciting new chapter in our commitment to supporting education and empowering future leaders. 

Each year, since Shaylyn’s passing, family, friends, and community members gather to honor her memory with an Annual 5k Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. Last year, we moved the event to Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a great success, and we look forward to continuing the tradition this year to honor her memory.
