Welcome to the 3rd annual Champaign Firefighters Local 1260 5K race! Grab your friends and family to run or walk the local Carle at the Fields trail! This is a chip timed 3.1mi route that winds through the distinctive Southwest Champaign area including many local businesses, parks, and of course, fire station.

💖 Support a Cause

This local race seeks to support the Champaign Firefighters Benevolent Fund, which was created in 2022 as a new charitable organization. The mission of the Champaign Firefighters Benevolent Fund is to honor the sacrifice of the family members of our fallen brothers and sisters: to support active and retired Local 1260 members and their families: to support other firefighters and their families in Illinois and beyond: and, to provide financial support to community members and/or groups locally.

👕 Participation Perks

• T-shirt: Participants who register before May 31st will receive an official race t-shirt!
• Parking: Free parking in the Health Alliance parking lot is available!
• Packet Pickup: Shirts and Bibs may be picked up the morning of the race near start/finish line.
• Timing: New for 2026, this year will be chip timed!
