Race Description

• Celebration: The Chester County Turkey Trot is celebrating its 25th year of bringing the community together.
• Purpose: This race has helped to raise funds for childhood cancer research since 2012.
• Event Types: 5k Run, 1-mile Walk, and Kids’ Fun Run.
• Significance: The event supports children facing cancer diagnosis through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).

• Registration: Approximately 3,000 registered runners are anticipated.
• Wave Information: Gold Wave for projected times under 25 minutes: Blue Wave for others.

Time Schedule

• 7:40 AM: Gold Wave 5k (Sub 25 Minutes 5k Cut-Off)
• 8:15 AM: Blue Wave 5K Race
• 8:15 AM: 2K Walk
• 9:00 AM: Kids' Run on the Track Presented by Track Stars Youth Programs

Awards & Results

• Prize Table: Prize Money and Pies awarded following each race.
• Gold Wave Prizes: Cash prizes for Top 5 Male and Female runners.
• Age Group Prizes: Thanksgiving Pies for Top 3 in each age group.
• Monetary Awards: Must be verified and signed for at the awards table.

Additional Information

• Walkers: Encouraged to participate in the 2k walk instead of the 5k.
• Strollers: Strongly discouraged in Blue Wave: not allowed in Gold Wave.
• Pets: No dogs allowed due to crowds.
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds will support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Downingtown West Cross Country team.
