Event Overview
The Greene County FISH Food Pantry is holding the 1st annual Friends In Service of Humanity (FISH) 5K and 10K family-friendly run/walk, bringing neighbors together to end food insecurity in Greene County. Proceeds will be used by the food pantry in our fight against hunger.
Community Impact
- Need for food: There is a continuous and ever-growing need for food among our neighbors.
- Families served: The pantry supports approximately 1200 families per month.
- Veteran support: On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, we provide services to over 130 of our nation’s veterans.
Registration Information
- Early bird rate: Register by May 20 to be guaranteed a race T-shirt and access the early bird rate—$30 for adults / $5 for kids 10 & under.
- Price increase: Price increases to $35 / $10 starting May 21.
Race Day Details
- Date and time: The race starts at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
- Location: Xenia Station, 150 South Miami Ave.
- Check-in: Race day check-in and packet pickup will begin at 1:00 p.m.
- Prizes: After the race, we’ll announce prizes for both the 5K and 10K races, including awards for fastest male, fastest female and various age group categories, including youth and senior age groups.
- Refreshments: Light snacks and water will be available.
