Be part of a new tradition!
Run or walk the winter woods and pasture trails on a spacious, family-owned 63-acre farm. Two laps will take you through old-growth forest, along the stream, past a variety of classic North Carolina Piedmont tobacco barns, around the pond, and aross the finish line in front of the goat pen. Hang by the bonfire with your cheering section and make new connections while you take in the views.
This is the first public race hosted by The Land at Hawkins Loop. Other annual events include Hawkins Loop Bird Fest, NC Science Festival nights, foraged wreathmaking, and a variety of science, nature, art, and community events throughout the year.
