The South Florida First Responders Foundation, 2026 Heroes Run! 10K • 5K • 1 Mile

The South Florida First Responders Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is proud to host a community benefit race dedicated to supporting the mental health of South Florida's First Responders.

This event will feature a Fun Run, 1-Mile, 5K, and 10K race, all course distances will be certified. We will be welcoming runners, walkers, and spectators from across the region. Participants will include members of our local running community as well as First Responders from Police, Fire Rescue, Ocean Rescue, Military, and more.

Where the Proceeds Go
All proceeds will be donated to:

The Broward County Sheriff's Foundation
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Benevolent Association
Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue Benevolent Association
These organizations directly assist First Responders and their families during times of hardship and crisis.

Additional support will go to:

Stomping Out the Stigma – Provides free, confidential mental health counseling for First Responders and Military Personnel. No names, no insurance, no reports—just help.
First Responders Foundation (Florida Chapter) – Rescues and places emotional support dogs with First Responders in need.
