Light the Way 5K - Benefiting Make A Wish Georgia

Be a part of history!!   As Paulding County launches its first-ever Light the Way 5K, a community road race created to benefit Make-A-Wish Georgia and support a local Paulding County family. This inaugural event brings together purpose, celebration, and a whole lot of heart. The race will start and end at the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center and travel through Downtown Dallas. There will also be a dedicated kids’ zone in the gymnasium, so bring the whole family for a fun and exciting time!

Whether you're running solo or signing up as a couple, everyone is invited to help us kick off this brand-new tradition. Couples receive a discounted registration rate, making it the perfect evening to run, dine, and enjoy the festivities together. After the race, enjoy on site food trucks, the awards ceremony, followed by a family-friendly movie to close out the night.

Event Highlights:

·       Date & Time: Saturday, March 28, 2026. 5K Race Time: 5:00 PM

·       Pre-Registration Packet Pickup: Friday, March 27th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM in the lobby of the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center office located at 210 Paulding Lane, Dallas, GA 30132

·       5K Race Entry Fee: $30 Individual OR $50 per couple (discounted rate!)

·       Included with Registration: An Awesome Event shirt!

Race Start / Finish Line / Parking:  Both the Starting Line & The Finish Line are located adjacent to the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center.  The Race Route itself will travel from the Center through beautiful Downtown Dallas, GA!  

Race Parking will also be available at the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center (210 Paulding Lane) as well as a short walk away at Dallas Elementary School.
