Comet 5k run/walk

• Location: Beagle Middle School, Grand Ledge, MI

Event Details

• Theme: This is a family-friendly event: all ages and abilities are welcome.

Parking Information

• Location: At Beagle Middle School, 600 W. South Street.
• Directions: Turn at Jenne Street to South Street and pull into the Beagle parking lot.
• Note: Lohne Drive at the roundabout will not be open.

Registration Fees

• Standard Fee: $35 through July 12th.
• Late Fee: $40 from July 13th to July 24th.
• Race Day Fee: $45.

Student Registration

• Discount: Ages 18 and under only $25.

Family Pricing

• Group Registration: Register 3 or more people at the same time.
• Discount: Save $3 per person with group registration.
• Automatic Savings: Savings automatically applied during registration.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Male and Female Awards - Gift Certificates.
• Age Group Awards: Male and Female - Medals.
• Age Groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Race Swag

• Eligibility: All participants who register by July 13th will receive a t-shirt.
• T-Shirt Availability: T-shirts are available after that date as supplies last.

Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Friday 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Grand Ledge Track Complex, 1121 Lohne Dr, Grand Ledge, MI 48837.
• Race Day Pickup: Morning of the race starting at 7:30 AM.

Course Information

• Start/Finish: The 5k run/walk starts and finishes at Grand Ledge High School track.

Results

• Availability: Results will be available live and on this page after the race.

Proceeds

• Purpose: All proceeds from the event will support the Grand Ledge Marching Band.

Virtual Event

• Participation: Sign up for the virtual event if you are unable to participate in person.
• Inclusion: T-shirts are included with registration by July 12th.
• Price: Virtual event price is $40 and includes shipping.
• Awards: There are no awards for the virtual event, but you can enter results after completing your run/walk.

Timing

• Service: The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
