Jogging for Jesus

The Jog for Jesus 5K is a Bible-themed character run designed to bring faith, fun, and fellowship together for all ages. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Bible characters—from David and Esther to Moses, Ruth, disciples, angels, or even creative faith-inspired outfits—making the event joyful, family-friendly, and welcoming to the entire community.

This unique run is not only a fun celebration of our faith, but also a meaningful way to support the building fund for Assurance Church in Mounds, Oklahoma. Every step taken helps us move closer to building a new sanctuary for our growing church and a community and life center that will host tournaments, youth activities, family events, and outreach opportunities designed to serve and unite our community.

The Jog for Jesus 5K reminds us that sharing the love of Jesus can be joyful, creative, and impactful. Together, we run with purpose—building more than walls, but a place where lives are changed, faith is strengthened, and our community can come together to grow and love Jesus. 🙏🏃‍♀️✝️
