Valentine's 5K (Rescheduled to Feb. 14, Due to Snow)

This race will run on Feb. 14, 2026, Saturday. We had to change the original date of Feb. 8 because of snow.

Bib Pickup: 7:15 a.m. - 7:55 a.m.

Race begins at 8:00 a.m.

The DC Road Runners Club's Valentine's 5K race starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026. It covers an out-and-back course in Rock Creek Park, and is the fourth in the club's Snowball Series. It is free for members of the DC Road Runners Club, and $10.00 for nonmembers.

The race begins at the Rock Creek Park Tennis Center, next to Picnic Grove #24 on Stage Road.

Rock Creek Park Tennis Center 
Enter the park from the 4870 block of Colorado Ave., NW. This is southwest of the intersection of Colorado and 16th Street.

NOTE: The only way to enter the park is from Colorado Ave.

The course follows Stage Road to the north, then takes a left on Morrow Drive. At Joyce Drive, turn left, and then make a left again almost immediately, to Beach Drive. Follow Beach Drive to the turnaround point, which is just prior, north, of the parking for Picnic Grove #4. Course marshalls will direct you where to turn around.

Awards go to the top three overall finishers, top masters, and top finishers in ten-year age groups
