🐶 Race Overview

Puppy raisers and volunteers for Hero Dogs, Inc. are excited to present the 4th Annual Hero Dogs 5K9, our 3rd year with an IN-PERSON option hosted at Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC. This year ALL in-person finishers (for both the 1K and 5K) will receive a Hero Dogs medal!

🎉 Pup Registration

• Registration Fee: Add-on Registration for Pups is $10 and includes a Hero Dogs Bandana!
• Restrictions: Only Hero Dogs will be permitted at the in-person event (service dogs, therapy dogs, skilled home companions and service dogs in training).
• Other Dogs: Other dogs may register to receive the bandana giveaway but will not be allowed at Congressional on Race Day.
• Medals: All participants that complete the in-person race will receive a medal at the finish line!

📅 Registration Deadlines

• March 1: Priority Registration Deadline ($30 price ends)
• March 30: Early Bird Registration Deadline ($35 price ends)
• April 25: Regular Registration with T-Shirt Guarantee ends ($40)
• Race Day: Registration will continue through Race Day but t-shirts cannot be guaranteed after the April 25th date.

📦 Packet Pickup & Shipping

• Virtual Race Cost: Virtual race registration is $10 more and includes the cost of shipping your t-shirt - you do NOT need to add shipping if you select the virtual option.
• Pickup Location: All packet pickup will be available prior to the race at Congressional Cemetery.
• Mailing Option: If you prefer to have your packet mailed, you will need to add a $10 shipping charge.
• Unpicked T-Shirts: Any t-shirts not picked up at the race will NOT be mailed.
