About this race
Event Overview
- Experience: The Anne Arundel County Lifeline 100 Century Ride offers a great experience for cyclists of all ages and abilities with 100, 65, 30, and 15-mile route options and a free Family Safari Ride and Children’s Bike Rodeo.
- Scenic Routes: The 100 and 65-mile routes wind through scenic Anne Arundel County, including views of downtown Annapolis, the Severn River, southern Anne Arundel County, BWI/Marshall Airport, and more!
- Flat Trails: The 15 and 30-mile routes are entirely on flat paved trails.
- Support: The entire century ride includes four supported rest stops. The metric century includes three, the 30-mile ride includes two, and the 15-mile ride includes one.
Important Information
- Adult Supervision: An adult must accompany all riders under the age of 16.
- Mail Registration: Please click here for mail-in registration options.
- Event Status: Lifeline 100 is a “rain or shine” event. However, if conditions are unsafe, the event may be canceled.
- Refund Policy: Unfortunately, there is no rain date, transfers to another event year, or refund (unless you purchase premium cancellation insurance at Active.com when you register).
Event Details and Schedule
- Co-Sponsors: The Anne Arundel County Lifeline 100 Century Ride is co-sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks, and Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
- Supporting Non-Profits: All event proceeds support the following non-profit organizations: Anne Arundel County Crisis Response System, Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Bike Safety Programs, Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails, and Friends of Kinder Farm Park.
- Event Type: Each ride will be show-and-go. Please keep in mind that this is a ride, not a race! The routes include some paved trail segments with posted speed limits.
- Family Safari Ride: The Family Safari Ride is free and open to children ages ten and under and their parents/guardians. It is held on the paved trails at Kinder Farm Park.
Kid-Friendly Activities
- Children's Bike Rodeo: The Lifeline 100 will host a Children's Bike Rodeo - a fun bicycle safety orientation and obstacle course for ages 4-10. To register for the Children's Bike Rodeo, please visit our website.
