Registration Information

• Online Registration: Closes on Wednesday, December 16, at 12:00 noon
• Race Day: On-site packet pickup open 7:00 AM-7:45 AM
• No Registration: No race-day registration available

Race Details

• Course: Flat, walker- and wheelchair-friendly with one or two out’n’back segments on paved roads.
• Parking: Ample and free at East Potomac Park Golf Course, south of the Jefferson Memorial.
• Race Size: About 100 participants in each race (5K and 10K), must finish by 9:30 AM, only one race per person.

Race Start and Course Information

• 5K Start: 5K run & race walk starts at 8:00 AM. Gather at start/finish banner.
• 10K Start: 10K run starts at 8:10 AM. Gather about 200 feet north of start/finish banner.
• Course Description: Participants will run different routes around Hains Point, returning to the finish line under the banner.

Awards and Post-Race Information

• Awards: Christmas ornaments for top 3 in each race in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus race walkers.
• Post-Race: Refreshments will be provided to keep you warm.

5. December 19 at East Potomac Park -- Christmas Caper 5K and 10K
