2026 PVTC By George 5K and 10K

Race-Day Information

• Packet Pickup: On-site packet pickup open 7:00 AM-7:45 AM. No race-day registration.
• Time Limit: Must finish by 9:30 AM.
• 5K Start: 5K run & race walk at 8:00 AM.
• 10K Start: 10K run at 8:10 AM -- 10K starts about 200 feet north of the 5K start.

Course Details

• Course Type: Flat – walker- and wheelchair-friendly – One or two out’n’back segments on paved roads.
• Awards: Cherry pies for top 3 in each race in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers.
• Race Size: About 100 in each race, 5K and 10K -- Only one race per person.
• Parking: Ample and free at East Potomac Park Golf Course and nearby streets.

• April 13 at Bluemont Park in Arlington VA -- Easter Classic 5K and 10K
• July 4 at Bluemont Park in Arlington VA -- Go Fourth 8K
• November 22 at East Potomac Park -- Cranberry Crawl 5K and 10K
• December 20 at East Potomac Park -- Christmas Caper 5K and 10K
• Membership Benefits: Members may sign up for By George and enter all 5 races for the price of 4 ($40 total).
• Non-Member Pricing: Non-members may sign up for By George and enter all 5 races for the price of 4 ($60 total).
• Membership Opportunity: If you're not a member yet, you can join PVTC now for $20 and take the member prices.
