17th Annual Surfside Beach Turkey Trot 5K
Join NS Promos for our 17th Annual Turkey Trot! The Surfside Beach Turkey Trot 5K features a view of the ocean as you begin your race and a run along Ocean Blvd. The race continues through the beautiful neighborhood and streets of Surfside Beach. Get the entire family involved with our free Gobbler Kids' Dash! No strollers or animals allowed on the race course.
Race Info
- Timing: Gun timing for overall awards, chip timing for age group awards
- Start Times: 5K race begins at 8:00am, Gobbler Kids' Dash (50 yards) begins at 9:00am
- Participants: Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
- Restrictions: No animals, strollers, or wheeled devices except for ADA-compliant mobility aids

- Participant Shirt: 5K Participant Shirt (while supplies last)
- Add-on Shirt: Gobbler Dash-add on shirt option
- Medals: 5K and Gobbler Dash-Participant Medal
- Race Bib: 5K and Gobbler Dash-Race Bib
Registration
- Availability: Registration is only available online
- Closing Time: Registration closes Thursday, November 26 at 6:00am
- Kiddie Dash: Gobbler Kids' Dash is free but participants must register online
Packet Pickup Information
- First Pickup: Tuesday, November 24 from 4:00-6:00pm at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel
- Second Pickup: Wednesday, November 25 from 4:00-7:00pm at TBA
- Race Day Pickup: Thursday, November 26 from 6:45-7:45am near the start/finish line
- Note: If you do not attend packet pickup prior to race morning, you will NOT receive your t-shirt until after you complete the race.
Parking
- Location: Free parking adjacent to Ocean Blvd./Surfside Pier
- Rules: Do not park in driveways
Restrooms
- Facilities: Portos near the start/finish line
Awards 5K
- Categories: Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place
- Masters: Overall Masters Male and Female 1 place
- Age Groups: 1,2,3 place for ages 0-10 up to 80 and up
- Kiddie Dash: No awards for Gobbler Kids' Dash
