About this race
Event Overview
Join NS Promos for our 17th Annual Turkey Trot! The Surfside Beach Turkey Trot 5K features a view of the ocean as you begin your race and a run along Ocean Blvd. The race continues through the beautiful neighborhood and streets of Surfside Beach. Get the entire family involved with our free Gobbler Kids' Dash! No strollers or animals allowed on the race course.
Race Info
- No water stop: No water stop on course
- 5K Start: 5K race begins at 8:00am
- Gobbler Dash: Gobbler Kids' (50 yards) Dash begins at 9:00am
- Timing: Gun timing for overall awards: Chip timing for age group awards
Race Restrictions
- Animals: Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Service animals recognized by the ADA are permitted.
- Wheeled Devices: Baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, roller blades, and unauthorized bicycles are not permitted on the race course.
- Post Race: Post race water and snacks available for participants.

- Tuesday: November 24 from 4:00-6:00pm at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel (15 South Ocean Blvd, Surfside Beach)
- Wednesday: November 25 from 4:00-7:00pm at TBA
- Race Day: Thursday, November 26 from 6:45-7:45am near the start/finish line
- Note: If packet pickup is not attended prior to race morning, t-shirts will not be available until after completing the race.

- Location: Free parking adjacent to Ocean Blvd./Surfside Pier
- Restrictions: Do not park in driveways
